Back to School = Back to the Fun

Welcome back Larson Star PTA Members. It has taken a few weeks, but the 2010-2011 blog is now ready for updates. There is a new addition to our PTA Blog. Notice the PTA Calendar at the top of the page? You will now be able to view all upcoming PTA and School events with a click of your mouse. Make sure you check back often, as there will be regular updates.

We also have a few ongoing fundraisers to take note of that are not listed on the calender:

• Campbell's Soup Labels- send the labels to school with your child. The PTA will do the rest.
• General Mills, Box Tops for Education- always collect all boxtops. These are collected in semi-annual drives in October and February. Each box top equals 10 cents straight to our school.
• Birthday Book Club- an educational way for your child to share his/her birthday with classmates AND to donate a book to our library.
• Cell phone recycling- Recycle your old cell phones. A "green" way to help our school throughout the year.
• Grocery Store club cards- Safeway, S-mart, Food-4-less, & Raley's. At no cost to you, register your card and the school receives money back! Ask friends and relatives to help too.
